fun times!

Friday night was the big birthday bash for my sweet cousin, Kelson. He's just 1 but is already preparing to run for president in 2044. Here's his first promotional portrait. What a cutie!

Saturday we drove out to Buckeye, Arizona; a place that doesn't sound beautiful but is actually quite a nice part of the valley. Our old neighbors, Jim and Megan, just bought a new house in Buckeye last month. They had us over for dinner (and chocolate covered strawberries--yum!) and a fun evening of play for the boys. Here's their son Shane; he's one year younger than John.
