Hello, my name is Havilah

...and I'm learning how to walk. Can you tell?

So the picture doesn't do justice to her battle wounds, but she is looking mighty toddlerish these days. The funny thing was that when I pulled out the camera, she started smiling and giggling because she knew I was taking her picture.

Um, yes, those are corn puffs stuck in the back of her pants. I'm not sure how she managed to pull that off!

I love her little teeth and the corn puffs are hilarious.
Today I was telling Elise that she was 14 months old when she began walking--she was amazed it took her so long. I must say though that she has mastered the skill at 15.5.
It is incredible to think that your days of Havilah porting are ending, your days of Havilah chasing have only begun :)

She really looks like your baby pictures in the middle photos! :)
love,
MOM (but we didn't have tile--so not so many bruises! A hazard of raising babies down south!)

Hello,

I just came across your blog while looking up baby names. I just wanted to say the photos of your daughter are adorable! My oldest child (of all three daughters) is named Havilah. At the time I thought it would be common, but it has proven to be anything but. No one forgets her or her name.
