David is already five months old--time sure moves more quickly with the third baby. I'm trying to soak up all the babyness left in our family before this stage is gone (not that I don't love and enjoy toddlerhood and the preschool years--it's just that those times are more, shall we say, complicated). He is definitely an enjoyable baby!

he's not a sold-out fan of the bumbo...but it buys me a few minutes here and there.

he does like the swing at the park though!

Kewpie girl

There is a little Kewpie doll loose in my house. She is a little pistol but those curls...those curls have been known to get her out of a scrape or two.

Don't you think the hair patterns are similar?

So this post took me longer to put together, because I was trying to use Blogger's Improvements, but they turned out to be Failures instead. Now that Christmas is long forgotten, I bring you our family Christmas photos (drum roll, please...):

Yeah, we were sweating in those sweaters--gotta love the SW winter--but I am so happy to have captured this moment in our family (it had been two years since our last photo!).
